I've also added the name of this blog to the twitter page to hopefully get more people following me ..... as all feedback and comments would be great from twitter users in fact any social media users.

Here are some interesting websites that effectively use the power of the soical media site twitter:
Twitter Phone:
TwitterFone is a completely unique service, the first voice to tweet converter. It lets you send tweets by just speaking your Twitter message on your cellphone, and the message will be sent as Tweet.
TwitterFone also lets you hear your Twitter stream. While you are hearing your Twitter timeline, you can reply to a message, send a Direct Message, and go back and forward. This means that you can manage your entire Twitter account through your cellphone.
Christmas Tweets

this unique yuletide visuliser shows what Christmas means to people, and opens up a platform for comments and debate about what Christmas does and should mean. Is it about Religion, is it about the credit crunch, is about seasonal cheer or just commerialisation? It takes people's twitter posts and places them together in a variety of categories; so that people can see what the rest of the world thinks. It then calculates the number of tweets in each sub section, and ranks them 1 - 4, the more tweets each category gets the faster the icon moves around the world. This is great when you have a topic that is as widely spoken about as Christmas but what about a topic that has little discussion surrounding it? How could I adapt this to my campaign?
100 Tweets

This is the idea of creating a twitter site in it's simplest form. The homepage is simply black with coloured dots of different sizes depending on the size of the tweet. The user can then click on the tweet and read into it further. The tweets are taken from posts about the new HTML5; and the site aims to amplify the capabilities of the program.
UTweet - Uniqlo's All Stars Twitter Campaign
Uniqlo has created a new twitter page; where you can create your own all stars show based on your twitter feeds or from twitter feeds on a certain subject.
I entered the word diabetes to have a look to see what would come up; these where the results.

The campaign is a nice idea, but I don't really see how they have made the connection between the brand and social networking. It does just feel like social networking tweets with a few clothing images put in between. What is nice though is the fact that you can specify what tweets you would like to view, but not to be too negative but the tweets go so fast you can't read them. Not really too effective - or maybe I'm just missing something?
The Skittles Blog - Experience The Rainbow

I really like the function of the skittles experience the rainbow blog. Skittles created a never ending blog of content based on twitter feeds a minute about colour and flavour, the idea is that the colour and flavour that has the most tweets would be placed at the top of the blog (in a kind of 'take over' fashion.) they would have the main section with the most information about it. A really effective idea to encourage people to tweet about a certain subject; to make its' content more visible.
