- How would the website look? Colours, layouts etc.
- How would the user interact? Scroll bars, clicking and dragging etc.
- How many pages should the site be made up of? Would it be a micro site?
- How much information would be on the page?
Some of these points will be addressed a little further down the line; but I thought I'd question them for myself to start to get the juices flowing!
I also found a few websites that really stand out for me because of their layouts and functionality.
Take a look:
www.saltfilm.com.sg
The site combines illustration with photos creating a fantastic aesthectic combination. Photos are uncovered by using a 'hand cursor' and the colours really make the site stand out.

http://www.amd-musikproduktion.com/
This site is navigated through audio and sound. In order to access certain parts of the site they have to be activated through speech and a microphone in the computer. the idea is to show how you do not need copy to get across a message.

www.griplimited.com
I love the navigation of grip limited. The site is one continuous horizontal site that can be navigated around through clicks and drags; each part of the site being different and in order to uncover videos and more info you have to figure out what are where to click - Brilliant!

www.andreaslutz.com
Andreas' website is an online portfolio that can only be navigated through motion and sound. It is the pinnacle of interactivity, forcing you to move and interact if you want to look at the site further.

These are a group of websites that I have chosen as I feel they all represent innovative ways of layouts and functionality online. they have really made me question, how I will get my content to appear and ways that voice rather manual clicking could really create an exciting website that really engages the user.
